Valve lash would imply improper timing right? And the engine would sound rough i guess. But the engine would not even turn over, nothing would happen when I tried turning on the switch, ignition was on though and electronics would ve up, so like some electronic or safety system intervened.

Oh I didn’t realise that’s a possible sensor. I’ll try and test this more.
A photo with the scenery ![](https://i.imgur.com/tdvkM6i.jpg) Also, if any Aprilia owners (or any motorcycle, but I don’t expect Honda or Yamaha owners to relate) had any weird behaviour with their bike, I’d like to hear your stories. The weird behaviour that makes me ask: after some driving through the mountains and taking a 5min break, the bike wouldn’t start any more, it wouldn’t even try to start. But after another 5mins of staying at the rest stop, the bike decided to start like normal. I’m thinking it didn’t start at first because the bike was really leaned on its stand, because the ground wasn’t leveled, and when I tried starting it the second time I was holding it upright, but still weird.

On crosswalks you tipically have to get off the bike so you give the cars longer time to see you. Crosswalks are for pedestrians, not bikes, so you have to walk the bike.
