Musk says he’ll award $1 million every day to Pennsylvania voters who sign his petition

    Sooooo buying votes, got it...

    FBI? This guy over here...

Also, I have about as much faith in him paying this as his former Twitter staff.

  • Jill Stein Hurts Donald Trump More Than Kamala Harris, Poll Suggests
  • capt_wolf capt_wolf 2d ago 0%

Stein has said she sees "no lesser evil" between Harris and Trump, yet she's also called out Harris and said she will do whatever it takes to make sure she loses. She's said no such thing about Trump. Doesn't take a political sociologist to see that as supporting his regime.

Cat's out of the bag now, she's truly just in it to spoil the vote.

  • capt_wolf capt_wolf 3d ago 85%

Incorrect... The storm actually ends after you get the Varia suit and the music turns from dark and brooding to more heroic.

It still wins for one of the moodiest openings to a game, in my opinion. It really makes me wish that Metroid leaned even harder into the horror stuff

Yeah, I skipped Pascal, but it at least makes sense when you look at it. By the time my family finally jumped over to PC, C was more viable. Then in college, when I finally had to opportunity to formally learn, it was just C++ and HTML... We didn't even get Java!

I tried decades ago. Grew up learning BASIC and then C, how hard could it be? For a 12 year old with no formal teacher and only books to go off of, it turns out, very. I've learned a lot of coding languages on my own since, but I still can't make heads or tales of assembly.

From what I was able to find, Gearbox is fixing it/has fixed it? Depending on the price, I'd probably buy it and sit on it if it doesn't work yet. The game has always been a little janky, but it's crazy fun.

  • ABC airs political ad during 'The View' comparing cohosts to Nazis and showing abortions
  • capt_wolf capt_wolf 1w ago 100%

So after a bit of digging, this is not really ABC's or the FCC's fault. There's an equal opportunity statute that requires networks to show paid political ads from legitimate candidates unedited and uncensored. They're not allowed to reject them either. Obviously it's meant to keep networks from tampering with the candidates political message and to give everyone a fair shot at campaigning, these assholes are just clearly taking advantage...

Don't know how many folks have heard about Libby, but I've used it for a couple years now. Libby let's you browse your local library's digital catalogue, including all of their audio books. Books can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks, with the option to extend it a sling as there's no one waiting for it. Works on Apple, Android, and in your browser. Best of all, it's all free! I dumped Audible for it and haven't looked back.
