Yea the reason I mentioned Versa is because I already treat their Save as a savings/emergency fund so may as well get the bonus plus tax relief there instead of making a new account for whatever other providers.

I did think about the chance that Versa does not survive but my understanding is AHAM seems to be well established might not be as big a deal.

Anyways, I'm glad to know that we also arrived at the same conclusion; I planned to just use PRS for tax relief and when that is done it'll be ASB/US Index funds all the way.

But I'll have a look at FSM again. I just found an article of theirs talking about a 7% return on their growth fund (I understand that these funds are usually riskier but I'm also very young so I should be able to just weather the storm when the economy is bearish).

Admittedly my finance knowledge is not the best. But on your last paragraph, it seems you're implying that PRS is not really all that great and it almost does not matter what I pick? I'm interested to know if you've thrown any funds in one now. But thanks to your comment, maybe I'd just go with the Versa stuff due to convenience.

Which PRS has the lowest management fee? I see that Versa has 1.8%. Tried looking into Kenanga and its not clear. Found a table online of other funds and they're lower but comes with other fees. Wondering what's the best now or just put everything into Versa

Who gives a shit how their family got their privilege? What matters is in the present that their children is taking that opportunity from someone else that could've used it. If their family's past was a struggle but they've made it now, they can afford to go elsewhere and leave that opportunity to someone in need.

Sadly controller support on windows is finnicky, can't get it to work. Maybe I'll look at third party sites instead. Even after the Microsoft acquisition they're still slimy as hell

i find there's a bug when going from local to all -> click on a thread -> going back to previous page and it returns to the local instead of all. seems like using an app is the best way to use lemmy instances for now.

the most annoying part of using lemmy instances is having login reset and all the blocked communities - usually shitty memes communities - appear back on my feed

Before Ultraboost, I get frequent arch foot pain. After getting my first pair, I can walk way longer distances without getting the pain now. Although, may consider New Balance as my next pair because I have no brand loyalty and willing to try new things.

  • I've went through a few agents here and there and I notice some projects offer cashback. My understanding is that the cash is totally yours and you can do what you want with it - though it is most definitely smarter to use it to pay off the mortgage or put in something like ASB if you can handle the monthly payments. Or am I totally wrong about this?
