Does someone tried any of these scripts yet?
Hi, I'm trying to set up a simple IRC server for myself and some friends as part of my homelab. I already have an Active Directory server that I use for centralized password management, and I'm looking to use LDAP to connect with it so that only users with an account can use my IRC relay. I'm fairly certain that this should be possible, because inspIRCd has an LDAP module, and Active Directory can be accessed through LDAP, but I just can't figure out the configuration. I've recompiled inspIRCd with the m_ldapauth module, but I can't figure out the configuration. Here's what I have so far in my ./conf/inspircd.conf (I replaced a few values with redacted just to not give away too much about my network, but all of these values are filled with real data in my actual config) ![lemmy does not accept xml code](https://i.imgur.com/B2lsgRA.png) Right now when I try to connect to the server with weechat, I just get "Access denied." I've tried filling every field labeled username or password in the weechat settings with a valid username and password, but nothing seems to work. I know for a fact that the irc server can reach the Active Directory server, as I can use `ldapsearch` to contact the server. I was previously getting "no password provided" when I looked in startup.log on the server, but now I don't get anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

For the person dying of hunger is the same. But yeah, killing millions is bad and is something America NEVER did, right?

oh right. Then we should treat them like cockroaches, right?
The Canadians came up with an idea you might agree, it is called "Final Solution".

I am not arguing they are perfect. It is just extreme to ban those folks altogether.
Neither are we perfect.

lol.
most autoritarian, anti-democratic, militaristic, imperialistic regimes
you meant UK, USA or both?
proletariatnerd 1y ago • 100%
So, people who love North Korea, or defend russia invading Ukraine, people, who stand by even the most autoritarian, anti-democratic, militaristic, imperialistic regimes - just because they call themselves “socialist” or “communist” - are “Tankies”.
Would be good to point out these people you are mentioning are not all the same.
There are people that Are critical of Russia, but don't buy from western propaganda and are being called tankies too.
It is more like, if one dare to question the western narrative = tankie.

I think the vast majority of people here knows this already.
You are way optimistic.

The US is rife with issues, but the hardships experienced by the average western citizen doesn’t even compare to the suffering that you would find in, say, Pol Pot’s Cambodia
I have some fellas from Detroit that would disagree.
