The battery/circuitry pack is removable on mine. Can toss the strap into the washer on gentle or hand wash in the sink with some dish soap or laundry detergent. Air dry and done.

Well shit. That looks freaking amazing. Hopefully it comes to the PlayStation eventually.
Edit: opened my fat mouth before doing my research. It is available for multiple platforms. Score!

Iirc, we introduced a strider-style bike around that age. Even ride-on toys can fill that role as we in the northern hemisphere move into the colder months.

I feel you. We had a dog and a cat both lose their hearing. It was tough, ngl. We think we mitigated some of it by giving them extra cuddles and attention. The hardest part was adjusting our actions so that we didn’t unnecessarily surprise them while they were looking away or asleep.

If you need to grate softer cheeses (mozzarella/colby jack/etc.), popping them into the freezer for 15-30 minutes will firm them up so they shred more cleanly.

Partner and I both got our flu/covid vaccines yesterday and kindergartner is home from school today and tomorrow with hay fever or whatever kindergarten crud is going around this time. Kiddo was also awake for about three hours last night around 0230 and struggled hard to get back to sleep. It’s been a long 36 hours

Unfortunately , I don’t know. It was 20+ years ago and I never got the chance ask specifics. I just remember my friend mentioning it and then hearing it drive off after a quick visit.

The MR2’s were woefully undersold. At least in my neck of the woods. Always heard they were a ton of fun. A friend of a friend put a JDM engine in his first gen and it sang very nicely.

‘Tis the season. Roasting green chile is (nearly) in the air. Makes me want to swing by El Modelo to stock up the freezer.

Yeah, looks closer to red chile to me, but the lines blur a lot around these parts

You gotta do 4 minutes and change with three of these bags. That spoon needs to stand up straight in the cup after stirring

Looks like the gas-in stub that comes off the other end of the gas tap inside the keg. I was using Cornelius style kegs though, and one end of the tubes was always flared for the o-ring to seat in.
Gary Numan from 1979. Close enough for government work, yeah?
Was a fun special shape to see.
