I have a similar thing but with celery. I cannot stand celery because to me it smells extremely bad. Like, the worst thing I have ever smelled or will smell bad. If there’s even a tiny bit of celery somewhere, I can smell it. I don’t even know how celery tasted because I can’t get it close enough to my mouth to try.

No tomato but maybe a bit too much ham. Maybe I should try a bit of tomato next time
It may be a bit silly but I’m really proud of it

Funnily, the couple of times I do remember my dreams, my mind likes to use the changing time against me to turn them into nightmares

Can someone explain to me the google API and DRM situation in stupid people terms? I’m stupidly tech illiterate but I know that this is a big deal and I would like to understand

Yeah, I’m in Russian level 2 so it’s definitely going to be wonky. I’m getting there slowly, though
I hope this counts as art! I’m not sure where else to share. Not English cursive, but Russian

Russian does in the past tense but I find it to be a really simple change
Example: He/She/It/They were reading
Он читал
Она читала
Они читали
Why is my home feed on lemmy and kbin filled with posts about beans? Where did this recent obsession come from?
I feel really stupid and that I’m missing something really obvious but how exactly do I download Memmy? I’m interested in trying Memmy out and my idiot self just cannot figure out how.

I just saw a lot of threads with people arguing over -2 day blackout didn't do shit -I don't care, why should you -Where's all the content, I want the content back -A blackout was really inconvenient

I think the vast majority of people just want to browse without any disruptions, tbh. A lot of people are calling them bots but I think many of them are probably real people.

When the blackouts started, I decided to leave reddit permanently for Lemmy, a decision that I don't regret. I checked back in briefly today and it seems like reddit is currently tearing itself apart. There's definitely a lot more people vocally disagreeing with the blackout now.

I had a very similar thought process when choosing my instance. lemmy.world seemed like it would be more open to new users than an instance named sh.itjust.works. Idk why that was my thought process but I’m here now

Unbelievable. Are they actively trying to get as many people as possible to leave their platform all together?

I think it's because the server is being overloaded because my email is verified. I'll wait until the server is upgraded to try again.
