I don't know how familiar you are with German history in detail, but it's way worse than what most people actually know. I am not complaining that the app does something I don't like, I am more so complaining about the frequency of communities existing on two instances and the moderators of them seemingly unwilling to resolve that. The sh.itjust.works community existed for longer but now the reddit moderators decided to go to lemmy.world too. Why does so much fragmentation have to happen across the fediverse all the time?

Das verfehlt den Kernpunkt von Quelloffner Software komplett. Die meisten Leute die ich kenne sind bereit für gute, quelloffene Software zu zahlen. Für mich ist ein gutes Beispiel Infinity for Reddit gewesen.

Ich habe die Instanz selber nicht aufgesetzt, habe aber mit dem Admin geredet. Da der Server zu allen anderen Instanzen richtig verbunden bin, denke ich nicht das dies der Fall ist.

Von einem Freund weiß ich auch, dass er nicht von feddit richtig auf sh.itjust.works zugreifen konnte.

Das Problem ist deutlich langfristiger als nur gestern (eigentlich seit dem ich meinen account habe und diese Instanz existiert), also bezweifelte ich das.

Liftoff scheint sich die posts anders zu holen (selbst wenn man über seine eigne Instanz geht), interessanter ist es direkt über die web app der eigenen Instanz.

Das kurioseste an dem ist, was wo überhaupt angezeigt wird. Teilweise sind in der Abonniert-Sektion auf der Hauptseite Pfosten die ich gar nicht direkt in den entsprechenenden Gemeinschaften sehe.
