I remade this meme to make it more legible

Great game. Been playing it for years.
However, the mobile UI has some serious issues since it was more of a secondary thought. It's really easy to accidentally tap to move somewhere and ruin an entire run that you were really enjoying. There's no undo or any way of editing the save to help recover the run. I've stopped playing for months because I was just so discouraged after shit like that constantly happening. In fact, I've hit that point just now.

I dunno. This meme is a bit too legible. Could I get this with more jpeg?

I wasn't able to do both bold and italics on Arial. I wonder if that's just a limitation of Photopea.

Thanks for the explanation. Now that the joke has been explained, I will commence the laughter. Ha. Laughter complete.

Fun fact! Squirrels don't blink. Instead, they secrete a special liquid from their genitals that they rub into their eyes to keep them moist.

Damn. I wish there was a word that combined both the words "Arial" and "acrobatics". It's a shame the world will never get to experience this.

Just because people can doesn't mean people do. We have terminology for the time periods through the 1900s that have been in use for so long that people just don't use that type of terminology. Particularly because it paints it in a misleading light, as if it were ancient history. People typically just refer to those periods as "the 80s" or "the 90s".
Referring to those time periods with terminology we use for ancient history when we have far more frequently used terminology is a deliberate choice to make the time periods feel like ancient history. (Barring language barriers, of course)
It feels like you're just trying to be contrarian. If you honestly believe it's commonly used to refer to something so recent, then please provide evidence of people using that to refer to the 90s often. Otherwise you're just relying on "I can imagine it, so it must be true".

Because people don't use that terminology when referring to a time period within a majority of living people's lifetime.

I remade this meme to improve the image quality. I wish I knew what font was used for the lower text. I used impact, but I can't italicize it and it's not as legible as the original.

But since the sun is 93 millions miles away it's further because the number is bigger

The title of this article makes it seem like there's going to be some somewhat racist undertones or something like that, but that doesn't seem to be the case as far as I can tell. It just looks like it will be exploring some old Chinese stories, and I don't know if anyone from "the west" that would have a problem with that.

FYI - the owner of this site, gamingonlinux, was a mod on the !linux_gaming@lemmy.ml community until they were caught abusing their moderator powers. Then they deleted their account and complained on mastodon that it's stupid design that mod logs are public. [Screenshot]

Can you show me any other examples of when people use the latter part of the word when shortening it? Or is this somehow the only acceptable one for you?
The number of times a run gets ruined or I just die outright because I accidentally tap the wrong place or just accidentally tap the screen at all is making me want to stop playing entirely. Nearly every time it's entirely out of my control and something causes it to happen. That gap between the search and quick slots? You can click there and your character will move. Many times I will be trying to search and my character will go kill themselves instead. ![](https://lemm.ee/api/v3/image_proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Flemmy.world%2Fpictrs%2Fimage%2F939f6116-4c73-48e1-a767-98776d3810e0.png) I desperately need to be able to select a tile and confirm the action to move or attack. Edit: Another small thing this would resolve is when I intend on examining something and I thought I hit the examine button but apparently missed, then I end up doing something I did not intend on doing. This literally just happened to me where I was trying to examine the two crystal chests in a room to determine what kind of items are inside, and instead of examining one of them I just opened the chest.
This little notification blocks my ability to click things and cannot be dismissed, so I have to wait for it to go away. And sometimes it just doesn't go away. When scrolled to the bottom I can't click on the post to view the comments.
![](https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/d069e4df-f941-4036-bc6f-a763307b04d6.png) In this image you can see when opening the list of profiles the only account shown does not display a username.
Assuming I am not just unable to find the button for it, can we get a button to view the mod logs?
